Executive Magistrate Jyoti Kumari has confirmed that internet services have been suspended in the region until further notice. She also stated that security forces are conducting an early morning flag march, and Section 144 has been imposed in the area to maintain law and order.
Heavy Deployment of Forces
According to officials, a heavy deployment of forces has been made in the entire area, including a Rapid Action Force (RAF) company. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Prabhat Kumar has confirmed that the situation is under control, and the force has been deployed in the entire area. He also stated that a company of RAF has been deployed, and some people have been detained.
Assessing the Situation
Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum Vijaya Jadhav, has stated that the authorities are assessing the situation. She has also urged people not to believe any rumours and to report any provocative or unpleasant messages to the police. The communication with the peace committee and other stakeholders is being established to bring normalcy.
