AAP launches poster campaign targeting PM Modi's educational qualifications

The ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi has launched a poster campaign against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, putting up posters in 11 languages across the country.

The campaign is a direct attack on the Prime Minister’s educational qualifications, with posters asking, “Kya Bharat ke PM ko padhe likhe hona chahiye?” (should the PM of India be educated). The AAP is using this campaign to highlight the Bharatiya Janata Party‘s (BJP) failure to fulfill its promises, especially to farmers.

Gopal Rai, a senior AAP leader, said that posters will be displayed in states across the country, and from April 10, similar posters will be put up at universities to raise awareness among students.

The party aims to spread the message about how the BJP has failed to fulfill its promises and how the BJP is trying to end democracy.

Rai further stated that the posters are printed in 11 languages and that all state units of the party have been asked to paste posters in their respective states.

The campaign is part of the AAP’s effort to dent, damage, and discredit “Brand Modi”. In his last three speeches at Jantar Mantar and Delhi Assembly, AAP Chief and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has taken on PM Modi directly.

The move comes after posters with “Modi Hatao, Desh Bachao” (remove Modi, save India) appeared across the national capital, and the police arrested six people for putting up those posters.

Following the arrests, the Delhi Police registered over 100 FIRs after thousands of posters seeking the removal of PM Modi were found in the national capital.
