Amid the ongoing manhunt to arrest the leader of ‘Waris Punjab DeAmritpal Singh, the pro-Khalistani fugitive released another video on Thursday, stating that he would not surrender to the authorities.

The video was live-streamed on YouTube and showed the person believed to be Amritpal Singh, declaring himself a rebel and not a fugitive. He also stated that he had not run away and was still with his community and supporters.

The fugitive leader further added that he would not leave the country and that he would come in front of the world soon. He expressed that he was not afraid of the government and urged his family not to leave their home.

Amritpal Singh also appealed to the Sikh Sangat to come together for Sarbat Khalsa, urging them to convene a large gathering on Baisakhi by making announcements in all the villages.

He added that he could never think of getting his hair cut even in his dreams, and it was a testing time for Jathedar. In the video, he mentioned that Waheguru had protected him in the past and would do so in the future as well.

This video comes a day after the pro-Khalistani leader released another unverified video on Wednesday, calling on the “Sikh Sangat” to unite if they want to “save” Punjab.

In that video, he claimed that he was not under police custody and that nothing could harm him. He also urged the Sikh Sangat to join the Sarbat Khalsa campaign to save Punjab.

The pro-Khalistani leader further alleged that many of his supporters had been sent to Assam jail, but the date and location of the video could not be verified.

The Punjab police have been on a massive manhunt to arrest Amritpal Singh since March 18. The crackdown came almost three weeks after his supporters clashed with uniformed personnel at the Ajnala police station on February 23, demanding the release of one of his close aides, Lovepreet Toofan.
